Technician - Biohazard Cleanup

Job Details

• Perform biohazard remediation, trauma scene cleanup, and odor removal in residential, commercial, and vehicle environments.

• Follow strict safety procedures and regulatory guidelines (OSHA, EPA, DOT) to ensure safe and thorough cleanups.

• Use specialized equipment and chemicals to clean, disinfect, and restore affected areas.

• Document job progress with detailed notes and photos for internal use and client reporting.

• Provide compassionate, respectful service to clients dealing with traumatic events.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in cleaning, restoration, construction, or related field preferred.

• Willingness to obtain or maintain HAZWOPER 40 certification (training may be provided).

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, wear PPE for extended periods, and work in physically demanding environments.

• Comfort working in emotionally challenging situations with sensitivity and professionalism.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
